Conclusion
I just wish these Stay Plus certs don’t transform from two nights at the price of one to three nights at the price of three, because then you are probably better off booking a sale rate or one of the consortia rates, such as Virtuoso or Amex FHR.
Some other properties likely see a high number of certy use (Fairmont Tokyo and Bangkok), where I can see this happening at some point.
The exclusion of Makkah properties from benefits is not uncommon due to the nature of demand (pilgrimage).
