Air France-KLM Flying Blue November Promo & Extra Exclusive Awards For Travel Through April 30, 2027

Air france klm november 2026 promo rewards short haul

Air France-KLM Flying Blue has released its latest promotional awards for November 2026, including Extra Exclusive destinations and, for the second time, select US destinations that don’t end in Europe. These awards are valid for travel through April 30, 2027, and must be booked by the end of this month.

The maximum discount is 25% off the required miles, although the rebate used to be as high as 50% (not recently, though).

You can access Flying Blue’s promotional awards page here.

Miles Sales

Flying Blue frequently sells miles with a 100% to 120% bonus. You can check if your account is eligible for any current offers here. You can also subscribe to have miles credited to your account for a reasonable monthly fee (read more here—and access it here).

Remember to use the award calendar to check one month at a time:

Flying Blue tries desperately to expand into subscription revenue and has launched Extra-bundles:

Short/Medium Haul

Long-Haul

You can also book these one-way. These are not only for flights originating from Europe, as they are valid for all long-haul destinations in both directions. Flying Blue used to divide Europe into zones 1, 2, and 3, but now seems to use the designation “EUROPE” for all these zones.

US Departures Transiting Through Europe

Remember that, theoretically, these awards from the US also allow a free stopover in Europe, but you cannot book them online and need to call AFKL that is an awful experience with incompetence, even if you have Platinum status with Flying Blue.

Note that Europe should include all the following countries for long-haul awards:

Europe 1
Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Luxembourg

Europe 2
Austria, Balearic Islands, Finland, Denmark, Italy, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden

Europe 3
Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Canary Islands, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Libya, Lithuania, Latvia, Macedonia, Moldova, Morocco, Poland, Romania, West Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Tunisia, Ukraine.

Flying Blue has adjusted the taxes and fuel surcharges it collects on award tickets, making economy awards a more attractive deal than before. Additionally, the fuel surcharge that Air France-KLM now refers to as a “carrier-imposed international surcharge” is capped for premium economy, business, and first-class flights.

Conclusion

Flying Blue tries to push these Extra-bundle sales, which make no sense when you compare the benefits to the price they charge. The product is “free” (included in the Amex fee) for those with Flying Blue and Amex co-branded cards in France.

Now they have also tailored some awards ex-US to worldwide destinations in a desperate attempt to keep those credit cards to Flying Blue miles points-to-miles conversions going on.

Absolutely DO NOT convert unless you are 100% sure that there is availability and that the fuel/carrier (read: SCAM) surcharges are reasonable.

There are now more long-haul destinations available at 25% off after they recently devalued them.

Reward ticket conditions:

No Miles or XP (Experience Points) can be earned on Flying Blue reward tickets. Flying Blue reward tickets are tickets that can be booked exclusively by Flying Blue members, payable in Miles. Reward tickets can be booked for anyone and used on Air France, KLM and Flying Blue airline partner flights. Reward tickets are subject to airport and security taxes and carrier surcharges. These taxes and surcharges are not covered by Miles and must be paid separately. Only Platinum-level and Ultimate-level members can use reward tickets to book travel in La Première (Air France First class). Availability in La Première is strictly limited to 1 reward ticket per flight. Please contact Flying Blue Customer Service on our website (https://www.flyingblue.com/en/contact-us) to book if you are travelling with an infant (under the age of 2) and/or for minors travelling alone. Reward tickets are subject to Flying Blue program rules, fare rules and the operating carrier’s general conditions of carriage. Promo reward tickets are reward tickets with up to a 25% discount. New Promo reward tickets are released on the first day of each month. Promo reward tickets are subject to availability. Displayed Miles prices for Long Haul promotional destinations are for flights to/from Europe, with the lowest possible price displayed, subject to availability.
