Citi and Turkish Airlines have launched a transfer promotion that Citi isn’t disclosing on its website, but Turkish is.
Miles&Smiles bonuses conversions from ThankYou by 40% between November 1 – 30, 2026.
You can access this offer on Turkish Airlines’ website here.
Note that the bonus miles are capped at 50,000 per member.
The bonus is not mentioned anywhere on Citi’s website, but is disclosed on the Turkish Airlines website.
The standard conversion ratio before the 40% bonus:
1,000 ThankYou Points = 1,000 Miles&Smiles Miles = 1,400 with the bonus
Eligible Cards: Citi Strata Elite®, Citi Strata Premier®, Prestige®, AT&T Access More
1,000 Points = 700 Miles&Smiles Miles = 980 miles with the bonus
Eligible Cards: Citi ThankYou® Preferred, Citi Strata® Card, Citi Double Cash® Card, Citi Custom Cash® Card, Citi ThankYou® Mastercard®, AT&T Universal Rewards World, AT&T Universal Savings and Rewards, AT&T Universal Rewards, AT&T Points PlusSM Card from Citi, or AT&T Access
Conclusion
I guess Miles&Smiles does the bonusing for this offer on their end, since Citi’s ThankYou website doesn’t mention it.
Just remember that Turkish awards are based segment by segment, making them often not so good value.
